Bio:
I have owned a camera as long as I can remember. I still have a couple of film cameras collecting dust. I used to have a full darkroom and it was a very creative experience. The downside was the very nasty chemicals required during the development and printing phases. Gone are those days now with the instant gratification of LCD display on the back of the DSLR.

  • How would you describe your photography style?
I feel my photographic style leans to wards Nature and I am always trying to capture my interpretation of natures ability to create beautiful things. The majority of my subjects have feathers. I love the concept of flight and the simple yet complex patterns in the wings of a bird.
  • Which photographer is your biggest inspiration?
I don’t have a specific individual in mind but I woudl not hesitate to say that all the folks around me that enjoy this hobby are very inspiring. Their enthusiasm and willingness to share their creativity drives me forward.
  • How long have you been interested in photography?
I have had a serious interest in photography for more than 25 years. Only recently have I been able to focus on a quest to get that perfect shot. This drives me to raise the bar on my results.
  • What was your first camera?
My first camera was was an Kodak Instamatic. My first SLR was a Canon T70 followed by a Maimaya twin Reflex 2 1/4 x 2 1/4. I still have both.
  • What  is  your  dream  photo  trip?
My dream photo trip would be to the Antarctic.
