Bio:
I am a Graphic Designer and hobbyist photographer who grew up in Scarborough, but now living Ajax. I enjoy all types of photography, but I especially enjoy taking landscapes and nature images. I am also a self professed long exposure junkie. I try to put my love of the outdoors into my images. I am always looking to learn & improve my photography, which is why I joined the Ajax Photography Club. Really glad I did!

  • How would you describe your photographic style?
It is mostly Landscape and nature themed. I do a lot of long exposures along the waterfront. Although, I also enjoy taking architectural and street shots.
  • Which photographer is your biggest inspiration?
I get inspired by the people around me. We have some very talented photographers in our club that continue to inspire. I would be hard pressed to not mention some of the masters that I have always admired like Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Sebastiao Salgado (just to name a few). Currently I have been fascinated by the work Daniel Kordan.
  • How long have you been interested in photography?
From as long as I can remember, I have been interested in photography. I would always be the one taking pictures, even as a kid.
  • What was your first camera?
My very first camera was a Nikon FG film camera that my aunt gave me. I never really caught the photography bug until I purchased my first DSLR, a Nikon D40X to take on my honeymoon. I’ve been bitten ever since.
  • What is your dream photo trip?
There are so many wonderful places in this world that I would love to see, but currently Patagonia in tops on my list.
