A photography talk where Rob explores how to go beyond ordinary images and capture photographs that are different from the norm. The session focuses on developing your own creative style and thinking about ideas that help you see and photograph in a unique way.

Rob Stimpson is originally from the town of Hudson, Quebec. He is a professional photographer and artist with internationally published, award-winning work and a penchant for the wilderness. Rob began his career as a photographer’s assistant in Basel, Switzerland. He has photographed for Ontario Tourism, Parks Canada, Ontario Parks, and many organizations supporting tourism.
Over the last 20 years, Rob has explored and photographed many remote and wilderness areas, including Antarctica, the Arctic, the Northwest Territories, and Greenland. In October 2012, Rob was elected into the Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s College of Fellows, and in 2016, The Globe and Mail and Lexus profiled him alongside nine other artists
