APC Featured Photographer of the Month – Malyar Nahil
With the start of the new APC season in full swing, we are excited for the return of our Featured Photographer of the Month.
Every month we select a member to be featured and showcase their work. It’s a great way to display the talent of our ever growing club.
This month, our featured photographer is Malyar Nahil.
Bio:
Photography is one of my great passions; I have a home studio where I play with a variety of lighting and backgrounds, to create unique portraits.
I also enjoy travel photography and have photographed weddings. The APC and it’s guest speakers are a great source of learning for me.

Anything in what I find “Beauty” and how I can communicate this view to others. - Which photographer is your biggest inspiration?
I don’t have a specific photographer who inspires me, I am fascinated by all beauties. - How long have you been interested in photography?
I was interested to photography for ever; my family remind me that I was trying to build a camera with a cardboard box and a Loop… when I was very young. - What was your first camera?
My first camera was a “Canon point & Shoot” and 1st SLR was “Canon Rebel G”, a film Camera that I had in Montreal. - What is your dream photo trip?
My dream photo trip would be somewhere like China, India…etc. Where all is different and also I dream about visiting Canada’s Banff National Park.
