APC October Meeting – MICHAEL WILLEMS: COMPOSITION AND PHOTO TROUBLESHOOTING
Due to a health issue, Margaret Hines will not be available to speak at our October meeting.
It is with great pleasure and much gratitude that Michael Willems has agreed to fill in last minute. Michael will be presenting his Composition and Photography Troubleshooting.
An award-winning event-, art-, family,- and commercial photographer, Michael Willems can help you. He shoots CEOs, weddings, families, companies, news, magazines, sports, fashion models, stock, government and commercial.
His love is the art of light and composition. He is a master of the up-to-date technical side, and has a BSc(Eng) in Electronic Engineering. He is a member of NPAC and has earned LPPO licentiate status. He received a Halton Police Photo of the Year award, was selected to be part of Photosensitive’s Picture Change project and “Aging Canada” projects, and won the 2013 OAC Cogeco “Stars Among Us” digital art award.
Michael has worked in 38 countries. He is a full time photographer and he teaches at Sheridan College and at his own school, CameraTraining.ca
As an all-round photographer, Michael can shoot everything. As a photojournalist, he likes long-term projects. He loves people and hence, portraying them. He has worked in over 35 countries, but there is beauty in every place.
