David Sweeney was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in the east end of the city. He has always had a love for nature and natural things.
My introduction to nature photography was through my involvement in the Beach Photo Club and a number of weekend outings to Algonquin that I participated on. I was in love with nature, especially water and waterfalls.
In 2004 after meeting my now wife, I was introduced to Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve and the Wolf Centre. My first visit to the wolf centre was a memorable occasion. The pack was strong and large with more than 7 or 8 adults. I quickly took a fond liking to Ebony and Manitou whom were two most impressive wolves.
I have followed the progression of the pack since those year’s, and have been snapping images quietly since that time.
